The first commanding general pledged that "no unit would be left behind." The training will help identify units for training, help commanders prepare a five-year training plan, and organize resources for collective training programs.

"It's helped me get a bigger picture of the training events," Cannon said. "Group training opportunities are vital to stability units. We need those opportunities to keep our units trained."
Conference participants discussed not only training opportunities, but also which units should receive them.
